SHORT HISTORY

“Grigore Moisil” National College is among the latest educational institutions in Bucharest and is distinguished by its success in the ranking of schools in the capital. Currently, the college offers programs within the theoretical branch, with profiles in real and human fields, including majors in mathematics-informatics, natural sciences, social sciences and philology. At each level of education, there are classes with an emphasis on intensive study of foreign languages, as well as classes focused on mathematics-informatics and computer science. The educational offer is tailored to meet the diverse interests and skills of students.

Our school aims to shape the future Romanian elite with a European vocation through a quality educational approach that involves both academic rigor and project-based learning, with the ultimate goal of achieving a successful educational journey.

In our school, all educational actors contribute to creating a framework conducive to developing the skills necessary for integrating students into social life and forming valuable, creative-pragmatic, moral-civic, European personalities.

The activities carried out in our school allow, to the same extent, the creation of a suitable context for the professional and individual affirmation of teachers and the cultivation of motivation for lifelong learning through fostering cooperation, communication, and mutual trust between the school and the community.

OUR MISSION

The Grigore Moisil National College aims to:

Foster the autonomous, integral, and harmonious development of students by cultivating creative thinking, a spirit of competition, respect for values, and the promotion of pluralism; creating a climate of physical safety and spiritual freedom for students.

Promote educational leaders, those teachers with solid scientific and pedagogical training, focused on stimulating pedagogical innovation, creativity, and student performance through the application of active, modern, and alternative teaching and assessment methods.

Build the identity and individuality of the school by promoting exceptional academic standards; affirm and strengthen the school's image by integrating graduates into elite higher education, both nationally and internationally, as well as maintaining and consolidating the prestige enjoyed in the community.

Develop an educational offer in line with national standards and the ideals of Romanian education and the local community, promoting a culture of dialogue and partnership, responding to the requirements of a constantly changing society; creating opportunities for informal and non-formal education through extracurricular and extracurricular activities.

Improve the management system to maintain and raise the quality of education; monitor the progress made in achieving the set objectives according to the established development strategy; ensure the material base necessary for achieving the objectives outlined in the school's development strategy.
